Independent/Hobby Projects

This page is for extra projects and hobbies that I put lots of time and effort into, especially during the pandemic. LEGO has always been one of my passions, and here I'll showcase it through my builds, photography and more.

Traveling Photography with LEGO Spider-Man

My largest LEGO project was this full city display, which went through many iterations. What started with a few modular buildings became a city with skyscrapers, a detailed outdoor market and park, lower river harbor and superhero details throughout, from Avengers Tower to the Batcave. Each baseplate was given lots of attention to detail to complete this build, even though I still think I have more to add. Overall, this is the LEGO project I am most proud of.

LEGO Venom Costume Mask

As a Halloween project in 2020, I built a fully wearable LEGO mask/helmet based on two Venom designs from Marvel Comics. I made this build my own with inspiration from the YouTube Channel Brick Science. The process was tough, as I had to constantly put the frame on to make sure it was fit and sturdy for me to wear. It broke many times, and using ball-and-joint and hinge pieces to complete the round shape was incredibly tedious. But in the end the build came together perfectly, and it is just a really cool display of my creative LEGO skills.

LEGO Drawing Model

In my progression of self-taught art, I wanted a model to base my characters off of. This model is built entirely out of LEGO with various joints to mimic a real person or a wooden model as best as I can. I chose to make it all out of white, a color I had in abundance, and I did my best to use all of these joints while still maintaining balance. Here are some fun poses I made.
