Design Projects
These are some of my larger, more thought out projects during my high school career, as part of my STEM high school classes and the embARC program during the summer of 2022

Little Monster Candy Toy
The idea for this project was to create a marketable candy dispenser for kids (within certain dimensions). My idea was to make this cute toy with the arms as simple levers. One arm would lower the upper mouth, and the other arm would lift the tongue to fling the candy. After the initial sketch, I created a 3D model on Fusion 360. Then, using my own pieces I made a relatively accurate LEGO model of this idea.

Abstraction
Drawings
This was the process of my final project for my studio class at the embARC program. The premise was to design a building/pavilion for UC Berkeley's Botanical Garden inspired by one of the plants.
After a visit to the site, I chose the prickly pear cactus as my plant of choice (below). I gained inspiration from the fruits, and through my abstraction drawings I designed this building.
Through the process of a few study models, I made a paper model of my design along with a 3D model in Rhino. There would be lots of areas for shade and seating, and the inside would have facilities and a café. Finally, I drew the floor plan and site plan to give a better perspective of how this design would fit in the botanical garden.

City Park Designing: Embarcadero Plaza
Another project from the embARC program, I was given a site in San Francisco to come up with ideas for improvements. Embarcadero Plaza was a very large, empty area with no shade and not much to do. After drawing out a map and initial section view, I drew some ideas for an elevated park with shops and places to interact with underneath, all through Illustrator.

Redesign of an Old Movie Theater
This was an early design during my Architecture CAD class in school. The idea was to renovate and repurpose an old, large movie theater. It was in a remote town in Wyoming, and my final design was to make the property a food court/mall. There would be a large central area for seating and plenty of smaller food court stalls. There would also be three larger areas for restaurants. It was drawn in Revit and was one of my first projects that dealt with a little architectural programming.

Tiny House Project
Another embARC project; in this one I had to design a Tiny house that was 8x20 feet. Drawn in Rhino then transferred to Illustrator, the tight space produced a unique challenge to still make the home livable. There are still spaces for seating, a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and a bit more. I also designed the stairs with extra storage to make the most out of the space.

Kitchen Redesign
This small project was about redesigning a real kitchen. We were given a basic floor plan and photos of what the original kitchen looked like. Then, thinking about the work triangle and use of space I designed this larger kitchen and dining area. I used Revit and learned how to add details and materials through the program.
